It's nice to meet you.

My name is Aaron Plocharczyk, and I am one of the lucky, select few that get to be excited to get out of bed in the morning and go to work. I discovered my love of web design in 2007, when I made my first flash game blog on Blogspot (now called Blogger) and shared it with my group of friends. They enjoyed it, and the feeling of making something that other people found fun or useful made me want to dive further into coding to see what else was possible. That same year, I decided to move away from the premade, cookie-cutter template that Blogspot provided and teach myself how to create a custom flash game website on my own instead. I read through tutorials for front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on a website called W3Schools, and I practiced my skills there until I had a firm grasp on the basics. It turned out that coding was not only a means to help me produce websites that I loved sharing with others, but it was also fun in and of itself! Every problem I solve with code is like a fun little puzzle, and I haven't been able to stop. I've been making new websites and mobile apps constantly over the years since then. When I'm not doing it professionally, I'm doing it for fun on my own. Along the way, I've become proficient in many new front-end and back-end languages and skills, earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UNC Chapel Hill, and added a lot of projects to my portfolio. I'd love to show you what I've made recently. Please have a look by clicking a button here:
